Kevin Mitchell teamed up with Danny Dyer as he completed his final training session ahead of his clash with John Murray on Saturday night.

Actor and TV presenter Dyer took Mitchell on the pads at his gym in London's east end.

And the front of Britain's Deadliest Men declared he'd never met anyone quite like Mitchell.

"That boy can seriously dig," said Dyer.

"I don't know what will be going through John Murray's mind on Saturday because it was pretty scary in there."

Mitchell, who challenges Murray for the WBO Intercontinental lightweight title at the Liverpool Echo Arena, said that he was in the shape of his life.

"I've had a great training camp," he said. "I'm over the little illness that I had and I'm 100% ready for Saturday night against Murray.

"I'm smack on the weight, I don't really have to do too much between now and Saturday because everything is absolutely spot on."
