At Bally's Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, heavyweight contender Kevin "Kingpin" Johnson (21-0-1, 8KOs) took his frustrations out on Matthew Greer (12-4, 11 KOs). Johnson was in the running to fight David Haye on November 15, but the fight fell apart and Johnson vowed to make someone pay. After three rounds of punishment, Greer's corner made mercy call and threw in the towel.

On the undercard,

Shamone Alvarez (20-1, 11 KOs) picked up a ten round majority decision over Terrance Cauthen (33-5, 9 KOs) in a welterweight contest. The scores were 98-90, 98-90 and 94-94. Cauthen was dropped in the fourth, but held his own until the final bell.

Curtis "Showtime" Stevens (19-2, 13 KOs), one half of the Chin Checkers [along with Jaidon Codrington] returned to the ring and blew out Ray Smith (8-3, 2 KOs) in less than a minute of the first round.
