Prior to Saturday's match at the O2 World Arena in Berlin, there were already reports that Mikkel Kessler was considering the possibility of facing the winner of Robert Stieglitz vs. Arthur Abraham. After twelve rounds, Abraham captured the WBO super middleweight title with a unanimous decision.

Sauerland Events CEO Chris Meyer, who promotes both boxers, told BoxingScene.com that Kessler vs. Abraham is indeed a possibility - "if [Kessler] want to" do it.

A big question is whether or not Kessler (45-2, 34KOs) will wait for Abraham (35-3, 27KOs) to heal up and get ready for a major fight again - something that may take a few months - or have a fight inbetween.
