It appears Kermit Cintron has no interest in a third meeting with Antonio Margarito. Cintron told the Reading Eagle - "they can kiss my ass" - referring to Margarito and his team, when asked if he was willing to fight Margarito for the vacant WBC junior middleweight title. Sergio Martinez vacated the title on Wednesday.

Reports out of Mexico saw Margarito, ranked at number two, and Cintron, ranked at number three, as the two likely candidates to fight for the vacant belt. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is ranked at number one but there are growing doubts about his ability to make the junior middleweight limit. With Chavez out of the way, the WBC would order Margarito and Cintron to fight for the title.

Margarito handed Cintron the only two defeats on his record and both of them were knockout wins. Cintron has never been quiet about his belief that Margarito loaded his gloves for their second meeting. Margarito served a one year suspension after he was found guilty of loading his gloves prior to his fight with Shane Mosley, which took place on January 24, 2009.
