Kermit Cintron will end a two-year hiatus from the ring Friday night.

Cintron will fight Eduardo Flores in a six round junior middleweight bout Friday night at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Penn.

Cintron (35-5-2, 28 KOs) has not fought since winning a 10 round decision over Ronald Cruz in March of 2014. He is unbeaten in his last three bouts since he was stopped in the fifth round at the hands of Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in November of 2011.

While he is fighting at the junior middleweight limit on Friday, the 36-year-old Cintron is looking to compete in the competitive welterweight division.

“Everything has been great for this camp and I got excellent sparring,” said Cintron, who was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico and now resides in Reading, Penn.

Flores (23-20-3, 15 KOs) has lost his last two bouts and is 3-3 in his last six fights. Flores, who resides in Quito, Ecuador, lost a one-sided 10 round decision to Khiary Gary Pitts on February 19.

In the main event of the King’s Promotions card, super middleweights Christopher Brooker and Antowyan Aikens square off in an eight round bout.

Brooker (8-1, 5 KOs) has won his last five bouts in a row. Aikens was stopped in his last bout to Lanell Bellows.

Super middleweight Aaron Brooks will make his pro debut against boxing scribe Ryan Bivins (0-1-1) in a four round bout.
