With dreams of taking home the WBC International flyweight title, Kenichi Horikawa of Japan has arrived in Mexico, along with his coach Keisuke Oki. He recognizes the quality of Edgar Sosa, declaring his admiration for the Mexican boxing, and especially for Ricardo Lopez and Oscar "Chololo" Larios. He warned that that it will be difficult to get a win on points outside his country and also warned that seeks the undeniable victory by knockout.

"I will win and it will be by knockout. It is very difficult to win a decision in a foreign country," he said. "I am the challenger and I come to fight with everything. Sosa is a great fighter, I respect him a lot, but I've come for the championship."

He faces Sosa on the 2nd of April in Arena Mexico.

He dedicated the fight to the Japanese people, who are still recovering from the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11.

"My people are fighting hard to get ahead. I'm going to fight hard in Mexico to give a joy to my people."
