Undefeated WBA Inter-Continental welterweight champion Kell Brook (26-0, 18KOs) has vowed to end the Hatton legacy on March 17th at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield. Brook faces Matthew Hatton (42-5-2, 16KOs) with the IBF International title also at stake. As BoxingScene.com reported last week, the fight was bridged with a drunken prank phone call from Hatton, who reached out to Brook around Christmas time.

Brook said: "I missed Matt's call but his message said 'come and fight me'. I knew he was drunk and deleted it. His call came when he was full of Christmas spirit and there's no problem between us. There's a lot of respect but when I'm wearing my gloves Matt will not be able to cope with my power or speed. Ricky was an unbelievable fighter. They can carry on being promoters but their fighting name will be finished," Brook told The Sun.
