IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (33-0, 22KOs) feels ready to go straight into a domestic showdown with Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs). Brook is recovering from am unprovoked attack. The boxer was stabbed in the leg by an unknown assailant, which forced him to withdraw from a planned December defense of the title in Sheffield.

"I was ready five years ago...six, seven years ago to fight Amir Khan. I know that I'm going to be a lot stronger, better fighter from all this. I could easily go straight in to the Amir Khan fight. Believe it or not, I could get Amir Khan with one leg, now, and knock him out. So I'm very confident about this," Brook told Calendar.
