Undefeated IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (33-0, 22KOs) is already back in camp and plans to move forward with a planned title defense in March. The tentative date is March 28th against an opponent to be determined. Brook captured the IBF crown in August, when he travled to Carson, California and won a twelve round majority decision over previously undefeated Shawn Porter at the StubHub Center.
Following the title winning effort, Brook was attacked while vacationing by an unknown assailant and stabbed in his leg. The injury caused the boxer to postpone a planned December comeback.
"I'm back training, having no problem with the leg I'll be back in the boxing ring defending my world title in March!," Brook told his social network followers.
