IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (33-0, 22KOs) is going to announce his next opponent on Monday. Brook is scheduled to make his first world title defense on March 28th at the Motorpoint Arena in his hometown of Sheffield.
There are discussions to face his mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan. The two sides are not in line on the financial terms.
One name being kicked around (by several sources) as a possible challenger is Antonin Decarie (31-2, 10KOs), who is ranked at #12 IBF, #3 WBC and #6 WBO. Decarie has won four fights in a row since losing a ten round decision to Carlos Abregu.
