Sources close to the situation have just informed BoxingScene that a clash between undefeated junior middleweight Sechew Powell (20-0, 12KOs) and former champion Kassim Ouma (24-2-1, 15KOs) is a done deal for August 5 in New York's Madison Square Garden. Since no title is at stake, there will only be ten rounds of action.

The bout will be the co-feature to Vernon Forrest vs. Ike Quartey, and televised live as part of HBO's World Championship Boxing telecast.
