Light heavyweight contender Karo Murat (22-1, 13 KOs) will return to the ring on February 12 at RWE Rhein-Ruhr Sporthalle in Mulheim, and his opponent will be Christian Cruz (12-11-1, 10 KOs). Murat was stopped in the tenth round of a WBO eliminator in his last ring appearance against British boxer Nathan Cleverly last September.
"I want to prove that I am still a leading light heavyweight boxer. As far as my next opponent, it seems to me that he is much better than indicated by his record," Murat said.
