The WBC has announced that the rematch it’s ordered between Japan’s Tomoki Kameda and Stephane Jamoye from Belgium, will be held in the Mexican City of Leon on November 20th.

New Bantamweight Youth Champion Kameda was presented with the famous green belt in Mexico City offices of the WBC, by its President Jose Sulaiman. Kameda confirmed that he’s looking forward to this re-match and will again win.

Fight one, was in Mazatlan. The initial result was given as a draw, but a mistake was found in a scorecard and when rectified, it added up to a split decision victory for  Kameda.

Don Jose, who was holding his first weekly press conference since he underwent knee surgery two months ago,  stressed that the initial fight result, came about through human error, but was corrected as soon as it was discovered.
