Unbeaten prospect Tomoki "The little Mexican" Kameda, the youngest brother of the fighting Kameda clan, will look for his 15th win on Saturday night in Jalisco, on the undercard where Saul "Canelo" Alvarez faces Luciano Cuello in the main event.
Kameda (14-0, 11 KOs) will face Arturo Camargo, for the vacant WBC intercontinental bantamweight youth title.
In perfect Spanish, Kameda said "I feel strong and looking forward to climbing into the ring. My preparation has been first class. Camargo is good, hits hard, and has experience. I'm ready to win by any means."
Kameda, who trains with Ruben Lira Michoacan, said "the bulk of my training persiod is over. I bring a lot of stamina to the table and I don't think Arturo will keep up with the pace. My father Shiro will be at my fight. "
He noted that contest will be a "very good [fight] with a lot appeal to the public. I've spent almost three years in Mexico. I'm happy because a lot of people support me, like the World Boxing Council."
The undefeated Japananese fighter said "I'll win the WBC youth crown and then go for the big belt in the same organization. I put my trust my technique to become the champion of the world."
