Former Olympian Kal Yafai made it five wins from five as a professional with a 52-second blitzing of outclassed Pio Antonio Nettuno on Saturday night.
The 2008 Team GB representative from Birmingham has made rapid progress since leaving the amateur ranks in July, racking up four wins - three by stoppage - heading into tonight's bout in Nottingham.
The bantamweight continued that development at the Capital FM Arena as he dug in several trademark body shots before a left to Nettuno's ribs left the Italian winded and unable to beat the count.
"I was happy with that, I know I want to get rounds under my belt and this was supposed to be for eight, but you don't get paid overtime, as the saying goes," said Yafai.
"I love landing the body shots and I didn't even put everything into that one that stopped him. But it caught him sweetly and he couldn't get up from it.
"I'm fighting again next month and hopefully the fights keep coming thick and fast."
