The Daily Monitor reports that veteran Justin "Ugandan Destroyer” Juuko has been invited to join Ricky Hatton's camp to assist him towards his December 8 pay-per-view showdown in with WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr., scheduled to take place in Las Vegas.

Juuko is a tough veteran, having fought fought Mayweather in the past and the late Diego Corrales.

“They (Team Hatton) contacted me on Saturday (October 6). Since there was a fight I was looking forward to, I put them on hold but now that it is off I may go and help them out,” said Juuko. "I think they figured out that since I fought Mayweather sometime back and we belonged to the same camp (Top Rank) I know a bit about his style. Hatton is a bigger guy but I will go do it.”

As reported several weeks ago, Mayweather has called upon former junior welterweight champion Lovemore Ndou to join his camp and assist him with sparring.
