In his first fight since being upset by Timothy Bradley, former WBC junior welterweightc champion Junior Witter returned to the ring at the York Hall in London, stopping Victor Hugo Castro in three rounds. Castro went down in rounds two and three before the fight was stopped.

In other action, Albert Sosnowski upset Danny Williams by way of an eight round knockout. After being dropped and barely getting to his feet in the eight, the ref stepped in after Sosnowski began to punish him with power shots. The word coming out of the arena is that Williams is mulling over the possibility of retirement. He was scheduled to face former heavyweight champion Francois Botha in a special headliner in Egypt on November 30.
