On March 12, at the River Rock Casino in Richmond, BC, West Coast Promotions put together a new event. In the main battle, the reigning Canadian heavyweight champion, Junior Moar (8-3-0) will put his title at stake against Michael Walchuk (9-2-0). In his last battle fought in Washington, Moar was stopped by Lafarrell Bunting who was back in the competition after a break of more than 3 years.
On the same card, Andy Mavros (6-3-0), who lost his last two fights in rings of Nevada, will compete against Aubrey Morrow (5-1-2). The latter has staged all but one of his fights in Washington.
At heavyweight, 38-year-old veteran Jamie Walton (3-3-2) will face Alberta's Clayton Gladu (0-4-1), while Shane Andreesen (10-3-0), a former hope who's been inactive since 2008, makes a comeback by facing Sandy Pembroke (1-2-0).
