Legendary Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. has announced that on July 3rd he'll take part in another exhibition fight at the Parque Revolucion of Culiacan, Sinaloa. The exhibition fight is part of Chavez's devotion in helping raise funds for those battling addictions.
Julio also revealed he could be trading punches with his one time opponent and lifelong friend Mario 'Azabache' Martínez.
Luis Alfonso Félix, spokesman for the event - "A Hook From Addictions" - stated:
"Julio is keen to collect funds to help people through his foundation who are struggling against addictions."
He also suggested that other possible contenders lining up include: Culiacan Mayor Sergio Torres, and Sinaloa Governor, Mario López Valdez.
"We are studying the possibility that the exhibition will take place against 'Azabache' Martínez, and also fighting a round with the Sinaloa Governor and another with the Culiacan Mayor."
Chavez added - "they'll all have to obey doctors orders and pass their medicals."
