Julio “Pollito” Ceja (24-1, 22KOs), is a step closer of fulfilling his dream of becoming world champion but he first has to face and defeat Juan José “Goofy” Montes for the WBC bantamweight silver title on October 12th at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vallarta, Mexico.
Julio has shown promise and ability. Now he wants to conquer his dream and that is why he has been training flat out, beside his friend and older brother Luis “Gallito” Ceja.
“It has been a very tough road but I’m used to hard work to earn things and now I have the chance of becoming silver champion. And then a title challenger soon. That is dream and I will conquer it, " he plainly said.
The fight between Ceja and Montes will be part of the undercard of the fight between Mariana “Barbie” Juárez, who will face Thai Buakaew Onesongchaigym on the card promoted by Promociones del Pueblo, Baja Boxinga and De León Promotions.
