Young junior middleweight contender Julian Williams has been itching to face one of the bigger names in the division. But thus far he's been unable to get anyone to bite. So with that he's been forced in 2015 to take series of developmental stay-busy fights.
Sources have told BoxingScene.com that his next opponent will be veteran Luciano Cuello (35-3, 17 KO's), who has won three straight after dropping a ten-round decision to Willie Nelson in June of 2013.
Williams (20-0-1, 12KOs) began this year by out-pointing Joey Hernandez over ten on April 13th in Quebec City and then on June 13th he stopped Arman Ovespyan in six rounds.
Willams-Cuello is slated to take place on a Premier Boxing Champions [PBC] card in September.
