Former two division world champion Zab Judah has been inactive since December 2013.

His return is finally set for March 12th at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. Judah (42-9, 29 KOs) will face Josh Torres at a catchweight of 143 pounds. The fight will be televised by CBS Sports Network.

After losing three of his last four fights and being dominated by Paulie Malignaggi over twelve rounds, Judah's outlook was cloudy.

What convinced Judah to continue his career was the time he spent as a sparring partner for Floyd Mayweather Jr. when the retired pound-for-pound king was preparing for last May's 'Fight of The Century' with Manny Pacquiao.

"Helping Floyd get ready for Pacquiao, it showed me I still had my skills," Judah said to the Las Vegas Review Journal. "It's very demanding when you work with Floyd. He expects a lot out of you. So for me to deliver the way I did and help him showed me I still had something left."

Once he made a decision to restart his career, he signed up with promoter Greg Cohen. Several scheduled fights fell apart for one reason or another and the two men decided to part ways.

Judah has promised a very spectacular victory when he gets in the ring with Torres (14-4), who is from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

"I'm like a lion who hasn't eaten in eight months, and I'm going to want to devour this guy," Judah said. "I feel like I'm 25."
