As apparent by the recent photos that appeared on BoxingScene.com, WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez gained a tremendous amount of weight since Christmas. In 2012 he will rise to 130-pounds, according to his manager Orlando Piñero.

"At the end of this year, he will be finished at 126. Next year he's going up to 130. He's going to be 28-years-old on June 30, and when one reaches that age he reaches adulthood and your body begins to ask more from you," Pinero said.

Lopez is training at the gym Jose "Cheo" Aponte and on Tuesday he recently weighed in at 143 pounds.

Next up is a title defense against Orlando Salido on April 16 in Puerto Rico.
