WBO featherweight champion Miguel Angel "Mikey" Garcia is on the short-list of targets for former two-division champion Juan Manuel Lopez. The Puerto Rican boxer's manager says the Garcia fight interests them a lot, but not at 126. Juanma would like to get Garcia in the ring at catch-weight of 128-pounds, which Garcia told BoxingScene.com he would be interested in entertaining.

"[Garcia] is certainly one of those who we would be consider [fighting this year], for sure," said manager Orlando Pineiro to Carlos Gonzalez. "Everything would be subject to what the Top Rank executives might have. Depend on the promoters. It would have to be [at 128]. Right now Juanma is looking to fight at [130] again but there is still no definite date [for his next fight]."
