Juanma Has Four Fight Plan, Including Israel Vazquez

Undefeated WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez is mapping out a four fight plan for 2009. In the month of March, Juanma wants to make a mandatory defense of his title. He wants to return in the month of June for a unification fight with WBC champ Israel Vazquez at the top of the list. Vazquez, recovering from recent surgery to repair a detached retina, has revealed that his likely ring return may fall in June.

After the month of June, Juanma wants to return in September against WBA/IBF champ Celestino Caballero or Rafael Marquez. If everything goes as planned, he tells Primera Hora that his featherweight debut at 126 will take place in December or January 2010.
