Juanma Dominates Lontchi, Retains After Nine Rounds

In the main event of the Latin Fury 9 pay-per-view at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez (26-0, 24KOs) continued his streak of battering opponents by stopping previously undefeated Olivier Lontchi (18-1-2, 8KOs) in nine rounds.

Lontchi was overmatched and had no answers for the power of Juanma. The fight became a one-sided contest the minute Juanma dropped Lontchi in the second round. At the point Lontchi went into survival mode. In the ninth, Juanma sent Lontchi down for the second time in the contest. The Canadian challenger did not come out for the tenth.
