The Scotsman reports that WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison wil have the home field advantage for the mandatory title defense of his title against Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico. The bout is slated to take place at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow on either October 21 or November 4 with live television coverage on ITV1.

Harrison's promoter Frank Warren outbid Marquez's promoter Oscar De La Hoya with a bid of $748,000, beating the "Golden Boy" by $33,000.

"I'm delighted to have secured home advantage for Scott in this fight," said Warren. "It will be a great fight against a great fighter and it's the one both Scott and the Scottish public have been waiting for."
