Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs) has denied that he's discussing a potential ring return for November. Executives at Zanfer Promotions stated that Marquez was offered two dates, November 15 and November 29, for a planned return in Mexico City, Las Vegas or Los Angeles.
Marquez is still pondering whether or not he intends to continue his career. The 41-year-old boxer was in action in May, when he won a twelve round decision over Mike Alvarado.
"I don't know anything regarding an alleged fight in November or a possible opponent. I keep thinking about my future [in boxing], it's not an easy decision and I'm not taking it lightly. I only ask that there is no speculation about what I'm doing in my career," Marquez said.
