Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs) is back in the gym in Mexico and training under the watchful eye of Ignacio "Nacho" Beristáin in the Romanza gym. Marquez, 41-years-old, is testing out his injured right knee, which kept him for most of 2014. Marquez has been inactive since last May's twelve round victory over Mike Alvarado in Los Angeles.

If the knee is no longer an issue, then Marquez will go after a fifth divisional title. If the knee continues to be a hassle, then Marquez will likely retire from boxing.

"The right knee is what is mainly hurt. First we have to assess how we feel and then what happens. I feel good physically, and if that knee is worked out then I will do a fight or two more. I'll have to see how I feel. If I feel good [I'll fight]. And if not, then for what?," Marquez said.
