Juan Manuel Lopez Knocks Bernabe Concepcion Out in Two

At the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez (28-0, 26KOs) stopped Bernabe Concepcion (30-3-1, 17KOs) in the second round.

Lopez staggered Concepcion in the opening minute. Concepcion tried to exchange shots but Juanma unloaded some counters to send the Filipino fighter down. He beat the count, but Juanma began to punish him against in the ropes. In the final five seconds, Concepcion landed a hard counter left hand bomb to send Juanma down as the entire crowd was shocked at what they were watching. Lopez beat the count and the round came to close.

At the start of the second round, Lopez landed a hard straight right to send Concepcion down for the second time in the contest. Near the end of the round, Lopez put his punches together and sent Concepcion crashing down for the third time. He tried to get up to his feet but he was barely able to stand. The referee stopped the contest.

Would like to see more credit given to Juanma, he beat a good boxer in Concepcion. if concepcion lasted 6 rounds with juanma, i'd say he's a good boxer... but 2rounds? disappointing is the word.

Oye PRReyna I didnt know elbows were legal maybe in San Juan but thats about it where Titos handwraps were also legal hahaa. Nothing again Ricans Puerto Rico got some hot *******, but the fact that they follow behind JuanMaricon so hard pisses me off cause hes not that good hes fighting B lvl fighters and still manages to get rocked. Bernabe came out throwing nothing but bombasos of course he was gonna get KOed with no defense. Wait til he fights someone with movement like Gamboa, Caballero, even Rojas JuanMa is a Top Rank Protected Paper Champ nothing special im pretty sure he doesnt have the heart that Rafa does and itll be exposed Sept 18

Cab is a BUM!!! Do you not remember him going 12 rds with DeLeon, another Mexican who Juanma KTFO?! Stop being blind, Cab can get it any day of the week, its up to Arum, not Juanma, and Cab is a BUM I'll say it again he fought some wack cats now Juanma will beat up old Marquez and then Gamboa, when that happens will you finall admit he is the truth?! yo brother im a juanma fan and think he will beat cab as well but the dude has to prove it in the ring and when you fight luevano and mtagwa and say cab isnt a draw well then you have a credibility problem. keep it real i understand the pride and support but you got to call like it is and if juanma was of any other race you would call it as a duck so call it like that now until he steps tp the plate and shows that same pride.
