David Higgins, who promotes former WBO heavyweight world champion Joseph Parker (24-1, 18 KOs), has indicated that his boxer's co-promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, is attempting to get the Kiwi superstar to make his return in the United States.

Parker tasted his first defeat back in March, when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Anthony Joshua in their four belt unification. Parker became the first boxer to take Joshua the full distance.

According to Higgins, Arum has proposed a showdown with Bryan Jennings (23-2), in a headline fight on August 18th in Atlantic City, New Jersey. ESPN would televise the fight live.
