Young Kiwi boxer Joseph Parker's tune-up fight has been confirmed, taking on U.S-based heavyweight Brice Ritani-Coe.
The 27-year-old has a Mixed Martial Arts background and five professional fights under his belt with a three win, one loss, one draw record.
Parker's spent the last month in Las Vegas training three times a day with Kevin Barry, as he braces for the big bout with veteran Francois Botha next month.
"Everything's to do with boxing [in Vegas], there's no distractions and there's nothing else for me to do but just a lot of boxing training. I watch a lot of boxing and read boxing books, quite full on and I'm writing a journal about all my trainings," he says.
Parker will fight Ritani-Coe on May 17th in Los Angeles.
