Undisputed Promotions has announced a crossroads fight between undefeated Joseph Adorno (14-0-12 KOs) and Iron Alvarez (14-1-10 KOs), a tough Cuban boxer from Tampa, Florida.
Alvarez, who is looking to bounce back from his first career defeat, has everything to gain in victory.
The fight will headline an event taking place on February 26th, at the Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
A win for Adorno will take him one step closer to his goal of positioning himself to one day secure a world championship fight. On the other hand, a loss will knock him right down the ladder.
Adorno, who was featured on Top Rank cards during the pandemic, had his last two fights end in draws.
He fought to an eight round split draw with Hector Garcia Montes in January 2020, and then went to war with Jamaine Ortiz for eight rounds in April 2020, which ended in a majority draw.
Last month, Alvarez was stopped in the tenth and final round of his fight with undefeated knockout artist Christian Tapia.
In the co-feature, Mexican boxer Mikey “The Hitman” Garcia takes on Julio Rosa of Puerto Rico, in a clash of unbeaten prospects.
Also on the card, Orlando’s Danny Suarez, Corey Marksman and Joshua Lebron.
