Jose Tito Sanchez and Jesus Ramirez Rubio made weight ahead of their junior featherweight catchweight on Friday night at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California.

Sanchez and Rubio both tipped the scales at an identical 123.6lbs.

Sanchez, 14-0 (8 KOs), of Cathedral City, California, will be returning to the ring after a 14-month hiatus. Sanchez, 27, knocked out Edwin Palomares in October 2024. Sanchez trains in Indio, California, with decorated trainer Joel Diaz.

Rubio, 23-4-3 (17 KOs), fought once in 2025, picking up a fifth-round knockout over Carlos Daniel Valenzuela Pacheco in November. Rubio, an aggressive puncher, has seen all four of his losses come by stoppage. In 2024, Rubio, a 30-year-old from Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, was knocked out by Katsuma Akitsugi and Ramon Cardenas in consecutive bouts on ProBox TV before his recent win. He was also stopped by WBA featherweight titleholder Nick Ball in 2022.

The bout will be telecast on DAZN.
