José 'Sniper' Pedraza confirmed to BoxingScene via text that his next fight will be for the IBF super featherweight world title.
The Puerto Rican won an eliminator in his last bout against Michael Farenas in San Juan, a 12 round unanimous decision which took his record to 19 wins, no losses with 12 knockouts.
"The fight could be on March 28, but if not it will be put back to April," Pedraza informed.
The 25-year-old also confirmed that the likely opponent will be Australia's Billy Dib (39-3, 23 KOs). The title is vacant following Rances Barthelemy's decision to move up in weight.
