Jose Nieves Returns on April 13th in Kissimmee, Florida

Jose "Miau" Nieves (19-2-3, 18 KO's), who was supposed to fight this coming Saturday on the Juanma-Salido undercard against the injured Jonathan Oquendo, will now be defending his WBO Latin super bantamweight crown on April 13th in Kissimmee, Florida. The event will be televised on Telemundo, according to his trainer Jose Bonilla.
"We do not know yet, other than the opponent is a Mexican," he said.
Nieves is returning from two strong showings, with his back to back close decision wins over Cuauhtemoc Vargas.
