At the Coliseo Cosme Beitia Catano in Catano, Puerto Rico, junior welterweight contender Jose Miguel Cotto (32-2, 24 KOs) beat down Chris Henry (22-21, 17 KOs) on route to a four round stoppage. Henry was a late sub for Oscar Leon, who was unable to make the fight after a visa problem. The fight was a one-sided affair from the opening bell. Henry went down in the second round.

Earlier this week, Cotto had indicated on BoxingScene.com that he was no longer going to compete at 140-pounds due to his serious struggles with making weight. Cotto gets very heavy between fights. He entered the training camp for this contest at over 190-pounds and had to lose 50 pounds in a few short weeks. He is looking for a big title fight in the welterweight division in 2011.
