Junior welterweight Jose Miguel Cotto (31-1-1, 23KOs), brother of welterweight Miguel Cotto, is looking for a title shot in 2010. On Saturday night in Caguas, Puerto Rico, he stopped Ihid Colombian Julio in six rounds with some vicious body shots in the headline bout to Boxeo Boricua card being put together by H2 Entertainment and Miguel Cotto Promotions.

"I gave him were good shots to the stomach that he couldn't get away from," said Jose Miguel Cotto. "Every championship is good. I do not know yet whether I will start with a regional title, but the truth is that a title of any organization is good.

Efrain Roman, one of Cottos' co-trainers along with Armando Alamo, says his fighter is ready for a title shot.

"Jose is more than ready to win any title. He is in great condition and has the strength, excellent technique and above all a lot of encouragement to do it," said Roman.
