BoxingScene.com has been advised that unbeaten lightweight Jose Félix Jr. (21-0) will return to the ring on December 15th against Meacher Major (20-5-1) in a fight scheduled for 10 rounds. The non televised fight will take place in Houston, TX. Nonito Donaire versus Jorge Arce headlines the HBO televised portion of the card.

The super featherweight prospect was originally going to return on December 7th on a Top Rank promoted show in Las Vegas but was moved to the December 15th date instead.  Felix is coming off of a big upset victory over contender Luis Cruz (21-2).  The fight headlined a special ESPN card that took place on September 13th in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
