Undefeated Argentinean prospect Fabian Maidana (8-0-0-6 KO´s), who is the little brother of former two-division world champion Marcos ‘Chino’ Maidana, will fight for the first time as pro in his home country.
All of Maidana's previous bouts took place in the United States, where his older brother became a star. This will be Maidana's first ring appearance since last August in Winter Park, Florida.
In his last fight, ‘TNT’ Maidana, defeated Peter Oluoch by TKO in the second round at the Full Sail University Winter Park on August 2nd.
The show takes place on April 9th, and he will face Andrés Amarilla at the Club Rivadavia.
On the same card, middleweight contender Jorge Sebastian Heiland, who sits in the number one position in the WBC rankings, will reappear after almost 6 months of inactivity, to face former Argentinean champion, Martin Fidel Ríos.
Heiland (26-4-2, 14 KO´s) is coming off a six round knockout win over Claudio Ariel Abalos last September in Buenos Aires. This will be his second fight since the brutal knockout of Matthew Macklin in November of 2014.
