Jorge 'Destroyer' Melendez retained his 154-pound Fedecentro title by knocking out Chad Greenleaf at 2:47 in the first round in the headline bout of the event called "Boxeo Caliente" at Nilmari Santini in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Melendez improved to 18-2 with 18 knockouts while Greenleaf fell to 13-18-1.
In the co-feature, Eric Cruz raised his record to 11-5 with 11 knockouts by spanking Tyler Ziolkowski (14-14 and 8 KO's) at 1.58 of the first round.
Meanwhile, Miguel 'El Gallo' Marrero (3-0) won a unanimous decision over Nelson Casanova, who was not happy with the result and tried to hit Marrero after the fight was over.
Aexix Padin (3-0 and 3 KO's) stopped Miguel Alvarez in one round.
Carlos 'Kid' Narvaez (3-0 and 3 KO's) impressed with a hard right to stop Armando Adorno in the first. Angel 'El Puma' Otero stopped Michael Pickett in three and Christopher Lee Perez knockout out Ramon Bayala in the third.
