The heat is rising for the anticipated Mexico vs. Puerto Rico clash in Las Vegas on May 7 at the MGM Grand. Mexico's Jorge "Travieso" Arce said he's going to be "like a knife" in his upcoming bout with WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. of Puerto Rico. The fight takes place on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard. Arce wants to continue Mexico's recent run over Puerto Rico, which saw Orlando Salido upset Juan Manuel Lopez and Giovani Segura destroy Ivan Calderon.
"I have the right motivation to get the fourth world title of my career," Arce said to Notimex. "There is extra motivation in getting the fourth title in a fourth division, and I'm coming [at him] with everything to win. I have confidence in my preparation and the strategy that I've worked on with Manuel Montiel in the gym. I feel fast and I don't have to sacrifice anything to make 122-pounds, so I'll be 100% in the ring."
