WBO super bantamweight champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce is considering another jump in weight. The Mexican fighter would like to challenge WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez in December. Arce has a rematch scheduled with South African fighter Simphiwe Nongqayi on September 24 in Mexicali.

"First I want to knock Nongqayi out. If I don't like the offers [at super bantamweight], I might leave everything on the scale, to secure my fifth world title. Hopefully, Jhonny Gonzalez is encouraged to face me. He will fight on September 15 and I'm fighting on the 24th. If we both win, we could be ready by December. He is great fighter, but I don't think he can beat me," Arce said.

Before Arce retires, he wants to avenge three of his high profile defeats.

"Before I retire, I want to beat Cristian Mijares, Vic Darchinyan and Simphiw. I have told my promoter to put me in against opponents who inspire me, because I train so much harder [for these fights] and they should pay me very well. Nobody wants to give me a rematch because they know they caught me on a bad night," Arce said.
