Former WBA featherweight champion Jonathan Victor Barros (36-4-1, 20KOs) will return to action on January 31st at Piso de los Deportes in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He will defend his IBF Latino featherweight title against Sergio Javier Esobar (25-20-3, 10KOs).
Barros has a very rocky 2012, when he stated the year with a victory but then lost fights to Juan Carlos Salgado and Mikey Garcia. He came back this year to knock out Diego Alberto Chaves in five rounds in May and then stopped Isaias Sampaio in two rounds in September.
