The Argentine boxer, Jonathan Victor Barros, who sports a record of 31-1-1 and 18 knockouts, is another name being mentioned on the list of possible opponents for undefeated WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez, who returns on April 16 at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Barros' only loss was on March 27 of last year when he dropped a twelve round unanimous decision in Germany against the Cuban Yuriorkis Gamboa. He didn't make Gamboa look good in the fight.

Barros is now one of three WBA champions at featherweight. He recently won the vacant "regular" title after Gamboa became the "super champion" when he unified by winning the IBF's version. The recognized champion, Chris John, is considered the WBA's "super champion in recess."
