Junior middleweight prospect John Jackson (5-0, 5KOs) returns to the ring on Friday night at the Miccosukee Indian Gaming Resort in Miami, Florida. The Telemundo televised card is being promoted by All Star Boxing and 340 Promotions. Jackson's famous father, Julius Jackson, will work his corner. Jackson goes up against the more experienced Yoryi Estrella (10-2, 7KOs) of the Dominican Republic.

Jackson loves to end a fight with a knockout. The fans love a knockout ending. Jackson says the perfect knockout record comes with a price. It's getting tough to find opponents and many others are pulling out at the last minute

“I’ve been blessed to have all knockouts because the training has been hard and the work that we are doing is paying off,” John Jackson said to the Virgin Island Daily News. “But because of my record, some opponents stay away and that can be frustrating.”

Julian Jackson is going through the tough task of locating opponents who want to fight his son. The only fighters who are willing to get in the ring with his son are those with a lot more experience, and that's why they are facing an opponent like Estrella

“A 5-0 record with five knockouts can intimidate some fighters ... but it’s only five fights,” Julian Jackson said. “There are fighters out there that wouldn’t mind fighting him, we’re just having trouble locating them. So we’ve stepped it up and we’re looking at opponents with a litte more experience.”
