The Miguel Cotto-Sergio Martinez HBO PPV card is set.

The other fights on the telecast will be Yuri Foreman-Jorge Melendez and Marvin Sonsona vs. Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

Andy Lee is a big step-up in class for Jackson, 25, but his promoter Sampson Boxing is confident that this fight will catapult him in a strong junior middleweight division.

"Just like his father Julian "The Hawk" Jackson, John has knockout power and if he connects I can't see this fight going the distance," Sampson Boxing EVP Nathan Lewkowicz told BoxingScene.com on Wednesday. "This is a great undercard fight and a true test for John Jackson. If he wins we expect big things for him in the future."

Jackson's last televised fight also came underneath a Sergio Martinez pay-per-view bout, a loss to Willie Nelson in a supporting bout to Martinez-Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. However, it was a close bout, with Jackson losing 96-94 on two cards.

John Jackson is 18-1 with 15 KOs.
