Undefeated middleweight contender John Duddy (21-0, 16KOs) stopped Alessio Furlan (19-9-5, 8KOs) in the tenth round at Dublin's National Stadium in Ireland.
Furlan had a very tight defense that seemed to frustrate Duddy for the majority of the fight. Duddy kept letting his hands go to break through Furlan's guard.
In the tenth, Duddy landed a series of left hooks to send Furlan down. He was able to beat the count, but moments later he went down again after being rocked by a Duddy uppercut and referee Emile Tiedt stopped the fight with 16 seconds left.
