Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland - Former heavyweight world title challenger Johann “Reptile” Duhaupas (34-3, 21 KOs) knocked out previously unbeaten Robert “The Nordic Nightmare” Helenius (22-1, 13 KOs) in six rounds to capture the vacant WBC silver heavyweight title.
Duhaupas landed a big right hand to drop Helenius in the fourth round. Near the end of the sixth, the same punch landed and Helenius went down and out. Duhaupas
The show is promoted by Loud N Live Promotions Ltd in association with J-Suge SLU and The Queen of Boxing LLC. Financially, this is said to be the most expensive fight ever in Finland.
Duhaupas fought WBC world champion Deontay Wilder last year. He was stopped in the eleventh round in the second longest fight of Wilder's career.
Helenius was also in the picture for a fight against Wilder, but that he lost to ”the Reptile” he is far from the path of landing a title fight. As for Wilder, he has a mandatory obligation to satisfy with against Alexander Povetkin on May 21 in Moscow, Russia. The winner of that fight would not have to make a mandatory defense for at least twelve months time.
