The Venezuelans had a good night as they shared a boxing ring on Fight Club in Escazu, Costa Rica. Three knockouts and a draw was the end result.

Johan Perez scored a knockout in the first round over Gilbert Quiroz, and now leaves his record with eleven wins, eight knockouts without a loss after ending things early in a welterweight contest scheduled for eight rounds.

In other action, Venezuelan Luis Valero, who at 40 seconds of the initial first round, sent to the canvas his opponent, Sergio Mayorga, in a featherweight contest. Now he raised his record to two victories, both by knockout, while Mayorga falls to 1-3.

Franklin Manzanilla, like his countrymen, won in the first round, by stopping Carlos Rivas in 1:28. The former national team member is now 2-0, 2KOs.

For his part, Ismael Barroso was the only one who could not grab a win. He had to settle for a draw with Wilson Silva. The scores were 38-37, 37-36, 37-37 in the super lightweight division.
